I know a lot of people dread the thought Valentine's Day. You know, being forced to show affection for a commercial holiday. So I started looking up the meaning of "Valentines Day." The origins are quite many, From the Romans executing two men both named Valentine on Feb.14th to being a feast held by the Catholic church in honor of St.Valentine, the patron Saint of love. I like the one that say Feb.14th is when birds start to mate.
Anyhow, I know people that celebrate Valentine's day every day of the year except Valentine's Day. Now that's romantic. So don't put too much into it, the littlest gesture goes a long way. Or go all out if that's how you like to express yourself. Valentines Day is Feb.14th, a time to show appreciation for friends, families and significant others and anyone else you might love.
I think you should celebrate with anyone you love and be grateful if you have a significant other to share the day with. This brings me to a quote. "People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime." When you figure it out you will know what to do for each person.
I hope you have a happy Valentines Day!
