I recently watched a TED Talks video of Shane McConkey's widow saying how Shane lived his life to the fullest and he wouldn't have had it any other way. If you have never seen the movie "McConkey" which she made, you should. Shane was an extreme skier that skied off cliffs and then squirrel suited to pull a parachute to a landing.Very cool.
Any how, I am not saying we all should go and buy squirrel suits but I think most of us get comfortable and forget to live. We forget to pursue our passion and take the safe, smooth road. I remember reading on a Lululemon bag, "Do one thing everyday that scares you." I think it is good advice to get out of your comfort zone and take a chance or take action towards our goals or passions. Pursuing our passions is what makes us happy and at the end of the day I think that is what we are all trying to achieve. In happiness we can achieve all of our goals and overcome the biggest obstacles. It sounds cliche or a bad eighties song "Don't Worry, Be Happy!"
